Burning sensation in eyes?

It happens when i continuously keep watch on TV for some time and sometimes even while reading. Is my vision deteriorating? Though i see moderately clear but sometimes feel it is of poorer quality before. What can i do for this? I want to avoid wearing specs as i want to become a pilot. Please help.

the 2 most adjectives causes for a "burning" sensation surrounded by a non-contact lens wearer are dryness and blepharitis.

yours sounds like possible dryness, since you report it one and only when watching tv and reading. try using over the counter artificial tears like optive or systane...
