Headaches from contacts...?

I have not worn corrective lenses for 4 days (had a flu) and today I put my contacts on and have a huge headache. Is this supposed to happen?

It may be that your eyes are still dry from have had the flu, which will then make your eyes strain more, which can lead to headaches.

Sometimes however, it can be that if you havent worn contacts for a few days, your eyes do need to adjust back. Just engender sure they are clean and wear them for a smaller amount of time to start with and then build up? Maybe it is unwanted symptoms from your flu. If they never bothered you before, then they shouldn't do that. If they are new contacts, after I would say that maybe your perscription is off.
