I use OptiFree RepleniSH. My eye doctor said I could, but I... Can I use my solution as drops?

I use OptiFree RepleniSH. My eye doctor said I could, but I tried it and it turned my eyes red. No pain, but they went red. Do all drops do that at first and i just need to adjust?

Also, do I put drops in with my contacts in or no?
Answers:   no those drops are for cleaning your contacts not your eyes
Although the disinfecting solution is okay to soak the lenses in, it is not made to be instilled directly in your eyes. There are many brands of re-wetting drops made for contact lens wearers. You should use drops at least three times a day, and more often if you are spending long periods of time at the computer, reading or playing video games. Refresh and refresh optive are two types of drops that are safe to be used with contacts. You leave the lenses in when you use the drops. Read the package of the drops before you buy them to be sure they are safe to be used with contact lenses.
Try the over the counter refresh natural tears drops. Best things I have used and they are pretty cheap.
